The one work do your peopleactually turn up to, and remember. Connect The Vibe, private soul and R&B parties for companies.
Private soul and R&B parties for companies. Planned, staffed and run, end to end.
Every work party is the same. Forced fun, half the room gone by 9.
We throw the one they'll remember, done end to end, with a short report on how it landed.
No icebreakers. No name badges. No one thanking everyone at 7:45.
The best December dates go through the summer. Founding rate for the first 3 clients.
No pitch, no deck, no slide about synergy.
The guarantee: a full, buzzing room, or we make it right.
No hard sell.
The music
What it is. What it isn't.
No Sweet Caroline. No Mr Brightside. No Wonderwall. None of the wedding-DJ cheese.
What it isn't
The cheesy corporate-disco singalong everyone has sat through.
What it is
Soul, funk, disco, Motown, old-school R&B and reggae. Proper music people actually feel.
Why now
The timing is now.
Four things are moving at the same time. That is not usually the case.
In-person is back
Nine in ten organisers expect their events budget to hold or rise in 2026, and in-person volumes are up.

Budgets are up, and scrutinised
Event spend is up, but finance wants every night to justify itself. That is why we hand you the How It Landed report, an honest read on whether it actually worked.

Engagement is on the floor
Only around 1 in 10 UK staff report being fully engaged, yet highly engaged teams are 23% more profitable and see up to 43% lower staff turnover. The annual do carries more weight than it used to, and getting it wrong is expensive.

Soul and R&B is having a moment
Sold-out day-parties, RnB Lovers packing arenas, soul back in the charts. The music your 25 to 65 crowd already wants is having a real cultural moment.
Built by an operator who spent a decade carrying an enterprise sales number, President's Club at Zoom.
Why I built this

Charlie Hurley
Founder. Enterprise sales operator and soul & R&B DJ.
Grown-up music, grown-up companies.
Built by someone who has lived both sides of the room. A decade carrying an enterprise sales number, and years in soul and R&B as a working DJ in the live and festival scene. The music, the DJs and the network are genuinely mine, not hired in for a website.
Years carrying an enterprise number
Enterprise revenue closed
DJ and artist network, curated not booked
For over ten years I carried a target in enterprise software at Zoom, Agora and Hofy, President's Club at Zoom, and sat through every kind of work party going. Alongside it I came up DJing soul and R&B, and spent years in the live and festival scene.
Two worlds, one obvious gap. Nobody was pointing festival-grade DJs and this exact music at a company crowd who would properly turn out for it.
I don't play these nights myself. I curate them, bring in the DJs and artists I have known for years, and direct the whole thing for you.
Connect The Vibe is the party I always wanted a company to throw. So we throw it for them.
2 rooms
One product. Two audiences.
The same soul and R&B night, pointed at either room. Bought by People and Culture for the team, or by Marketing, Brand or Events for clients.
For People and Culture.
Team nights
The internal night that fills the room and holds it. A retention tool that your team enjoys, not endures.
For Marketing, Brand and Events.
Client nights, The Members' Room
A private night for the accounts you already have and the ones you want next. No pitching, no stage, no panel. Real time in a room they were pleased to be in.
Whichever room it is, the mechanism is the same. One night, built around the crowd actually in it.
Why us, not the alternatives
We are not any of the usual options.
Buyers ask what we are instead of, so here it is straight.
We win when the goal is the best night your people or clients will actually turn up to.
Hear the sound
A taste of the room.
Motown and soul, disco and funk, R&B, old-school reggae and lovers rock. The records a grown crowd knows every word to.
The feeling
Warm room. Grown crowd. The records that raised them.
Mood and atmosphere. Real event photography follows from the founding clients.
What people say
Endorsed by the commercial and the cultural sides of the room.
Founding clients · 2026
New, and honest about it.
The first three clients get a founding rate in exchange for photos and a reference. The named quotes below are from operators and artists who have worked with Charlie directly.
"I've DJ'd at Garage Nation, Kisstory and a lot of big events. Most focus on the crowd, not the connection. What Charlie is doing is different. He understands how to bring the right people together and create an environment where conversations actually happen naturally. You can feel that straight away."
DJ Frenchy
Garage Nation · Kisstory
"I've known Charlie for a long time and he's always understood people and energy. That ability to bring people together in the right way is what creates real connection, and it's clear that's what he's built this around."
Lemar
Recording Artist
Well-connected across the UK R&B, garage and soul scene, with long-standing relationships with artists, DJs and the communities around them.

The proof

A short, honest read on how the night actually landed. Not a highlight reel. Back within 5 working days.
Illustrative example, not real client data.
The business case
The bit your finance team will want.
This is not new budget. It is the money you already spend on the Christmas do, the summer do and client entertaining, put on one night people actually remember. It is cheaper than buying four events piecemeal, and it pays back on retention before any lift in morale. See the full maths on the pricing page.
Not ready yet?
See it work before you commit.
We'll send the first How It Landed write-ups from the founding client nights the moment they're published. Turnout, stay-rate, feedback in their words. The proof, before you book a thing.
We'll only use this to send the How It Landed write-ups. See our Privacy Policy.
